This manuscript presents the protocol for the Health4Me Study. This study will determine the effectiveness of a 6-month healthy lifestyle text message intervention (Health4Me) to improve physical activity and nutrition outcomes in adolescents.

This manuscript describes the co-design of the Health4Me Study in detail. This study aimed to co-design a bank of text messages to promote a healthy lifestyle which are useful, acceptable, and engaging for adolescents aged 12–18 years old.

This manuscript was written by the Health Advisory Panel for Youth at the University of Sydney (HAPYUS). It outlines the top issues that affect the wellbeing of young people living in Australia today.

This manuscript aimed to examine the effectiveness and cost of various digital recruitment strategies for recruiting adolescents to a virtual clinical trial, evaluate the progression of participants from screening to enrolment, and explore factors associated with non-participation.

To do this, we used data from the Health4Me RCT.
